Package Assembly Technician

Ferric is a technology startup based in New York City that is pioneering an entirely new approach to power delivery for Integrated Circuits and Electronic Assemblies. This approach leverages Ferric’s integration of thin-film magnetic inductors with CMOS technology to enable a significant improvement in the integration density and efficiency of voltage regulators (VRs) compared with current commercially available technologies.

As a Package/Assembly Operator, you will work on some of the most advanced hardware technology in the world in an atmosphere that is stimulating, team spirited, and customer focused. Other duties might include electrical testing, managing inventory and receiving/shipping.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Package assembly of Semiconductor devices
• Visual inspection of products under a microscope and cataloging results
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Adjust the instruments as needed

Other Duties:

• Electrical testing
• Receiving shipment and completing receiving log
• Shipping products
• Managing inventory and reporting shortages

Desired Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and adjust electronics instruments
• Able to use microscopes and various
• Able to log results in a spreadsheet
• High level of patience for monitoring equipment
• Ability to precisely communicate with Engineering teams

• Salary range: $30-$40/hour
