
Sagar has 35+ years of Operational, Technology, Business Development, Venture Capital and Incubator investment experience. His engagements broadly include private board/advisory roles in Semiconductors, Clean Energy, Medical Devices/Wearables and Advanced Computing verticals. Previously, he headed Nuvia/Qualcomm Engineering Operations, was VP, Business Development at TSMC and CEO at TSI Semiconductors (now Bosch) to name a few. He has held various senior management, engineering, and operational roles in many analog fabless and IDM semiconductor companies.
Sagar has authored sponsored reports and positioning articles via media exposure on guiding principles & strategies supporting worldwide manufacturing, including India semiconductor projects. He is currently involved with 2 venture capital firms, an early-stage India-based AUM Ventures and late-stage ReX Capital in the US. He was previously an Operating Partner at Khosla Ventures, securing investments and scaling companies to exits.
Sagar has a deep ‘c-suite’ network in the semiconductor industry – foundries, IDM, fabless and system companies. He thrives on working with start-up founders to explore breakthrough ideas and achieve operational excellence.
As a board member of Ferric, Sagar provides technology and operational guidance on strategy and customer engagements.
Sagar holds a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India, and a MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas, USA. He makes the Bay Area (Silicon Valley), Ca his home base.
