The Fe1728 integrated voltage regulator is a self-contained power system-on-chip designed to provide compact and efficient voltage regulation close to high-performance digital loads.
The device includes four independently controlled output domains, with each output capable of supplying up to 7A. The outputs can operate independently for multi-rail applications or can be combined to support higher-current power requirements.
At the core of the Fe1728 is an 8-phase interleaved buck converter with a fully integrated powertrain. Power FETs, capacitors, control circuitry, and Ferric’s proprietary ferromagnetic integrated inductors are incorporated into a single compact package.
This high level of integration enables high-frequency power conversion while reducing external component requirements, PCB area, interconnect complexity, and overall power-delivery footprint.
